Should I Get a Home Inspection on a New Build Home?

Yes! Building a new home is a lot of work, so you want to make sure that work was done properly, and our team is here to assist with that!

There are two essential parts to a new build inspection:

1. Pre-Drywall and Pre-Insulation Inspection

During the pre-drywall and pre-insulation inspection, we inspect the framing and roughed in utilities to ensure good construction practices and proper placement. We also point out mistakes made and make suggestions for mounting heavy furnishings that can help prevent costly repairs and rebuilds in the future.

2. Post-Construction Inspection

In the post-construction inspection, we inspect and test the entire house to make sure that everything is working properly. Then you can make your builder aware of any unfinished components that need to be corrected before you sign your final paperwork.
