Structural Inspections

We offer a basic structural inspection with any general home inspection service. Based on the general inspection, we may make additional structural recommendations and refer you to our structural engineering partners, Synergy Engineering Services.

What is Included in a General Inspection?

A general home inspection usually takes about two to three hours, depending on the size of the home and what we find.

The things that we're going to be looking at in the general structural inspection are your exterior structure, your foundation, your roof, the attic, rafters, ceiling/floor joists, basement, crawl space, slab; we also look at potential issues on the structure such as cracked wood members, bowing walls, sheering heavy cracks at the foundation walls themselves, etc.

If we see an issue, we look for the cause, such as moisture penetration or pests.

Digital Reports

Both our report and the structural engineer report are digital. We deliver our report on the day of your inspection and always include pictures, comments, and recommendations. As always, with all of our inspections, complimentary follow-ups as needed.
